This journey combines comfortable train travel with three nights in the heart of the Arctic wilderness, offering dramatic mountain landscapes, national park hikes and the chance to witness the Northern Lights.

From Denmark to Abisko – a journey to the Arctic Circle

The journey starts in Denmark, continuing by train through Sweden towards Abisko, located north of the Arctic Circle. Along the way, the landscape changes from forests to vast mountain regions. This Abisko rail holiday includes three nights to explore the unique Arctic environment.

In Abisko, you can hike in Abisko National Park, join Northern Lights excursions and experience one of the best locations in the world for aurora viewing. Depending on the season, the midnight sun can also be experienced. After your stay, the return journey continues by train back to Denmark.
