The journey begins with a flight to Edinburgh, where time is set aside to explore medieval streets, Edinburgh Castle and the vibrant Princes Street. The city’s blend of history and modern energy makes it an ideal starting point for a Scotland rail holiday.

From Edinburgh, travel continues by train to Inverness, the gateway to the Highlands. Here you can experience the atmosphere of northern Scotland and visit the legendary Loch Ness. The journey then continues by bus through dramatic Highland scenery to Fort William, located at the foot of Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the United Kingdom.

From Fort William, you take a day trip on the famous West Highland Line to Mallaig, one of the most scenic rail routes in the world. The journey passes the Glenfinnan Viaduct and offers views of wild mountains, lakes and coastal landscapes.

The trip ends in Glasgow, a vibrant city known for its architecture, museums and cultural life, before returning to Denmark.
