Train journey from Denmark to the North Cape and Trondheim – Nordic travel by rail, road and sea
The journey starts in Denmark with a train to Stockholm and continues by ferry to Helsinki, where you experience both Swedish and Finnish capital life. Then you travel by overnight train to Rovaniemi, where the Arctic Circle and Santa Claus Village await together with Arctic experiences.
Afterwards, you continue by Arctic Route bus through the wild landscapes of Finland and Northern Norway to Tromsø, where you experience life above the Arctic Circle. For example, you see wide open landscapes and small towns along the way.
Next, the journey continues to Alta and Honningsvåg, where you reach the North Cape, the northernmost point in Europe. As a result, you experience a dramatic and powerful Arctic landscape.
Finally, the journey ends with a three-night sailing on Hurtigruten from Honningsvåg to Trondheim. Along the way, you see fjords, small coastal villages, and Arctic light. In addition, you arrive in Trondheim, where history and culture complete the journey before you return to Denmark.
